Senior Quantity Surveyor
We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading quantity surveying and project management consultancy in Dubai. You will be part of a growing commercial team working on array of Building and Civil projects across Dubai.
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be offered excellent career prospects. The position also offers an excellent “Tax-Free” salary and benefits package.
Quantity Surveyor Duties
Your duties as a Senior Quantity Surveyor will vary according to specific project requirements, but are likely to include a combination of:
- Pre and Post contract quantity surveying duties
- Cash flow programming
- Advising on feasibility studies
- Initial budgets
- Cost planning
- Preparation of tendering and contract documentation through to financial reporting and the settlement of final accounts
- Managing a team of Junior Quantity Surveyors
- Liasing with the clients and the contractors' project management and quantity surveying staff.
Skills & Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor Role
- A recognised degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or relevant construction subjects
- A minimum of 5 years quantity surveying experience gained within a cost consultancy company
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in large-scale Building or Civil projects is preferred
- MRICS or CIOB is an advantage, however not essential
