Senior Quantity Surveyor
£40-55K + Excellent benefits package
We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join a leading international quantity surveying and project management consultancy in Dubai. You will be part of a growing commercial team working on various commercial, retail and residential projects across Dubai.
The successful Quantity Surveyor will be offered excellent career prospects, with rapid promotion to associate level a real possibility for the right candidate. The position also offers an excellent “Tax-Free” salary and benefits package.
Senior Quantity Surveyor Duties
Your duties as a Senior Quantity Surveyor will vary according to specific project requirements, but are likely to include a combination of:
- Preparation of cost plans
- Tender evaluation & assessment
- Preparation of recommendations for award of contractor packages
- Preparing and presenting cash flow & cost management advice to clients
- Interpreting and offering advice on contract
- Ensuring contractual notices and client entitlements are properly administered
- Preparation of contractor's payment recommendations
- Measuring & valuing variations
- Agreement of final accounts
- Managing Junior and other Quantity Surveyors
Skills & Experience required for this Quantity Surveyor Role
- A recognised degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or relevant construction subjects
- A minimum of 5 years quantity surveying experience gained within a cost consultancy company
- Experience as a Quantity Surveyor in commercial, residential or retail projects is proffered (Not essential)
- Experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor in large scale projects would also be an advantage, howver not essential.
- MRICS or CIOB is an advantage, however not essential
